There are a lot of cute characters in that series, but Tinkle isn’t one of them.

I don’t know if Mission One’s notes this time are a typo or yet another avoidance of naming something specifically. However, in case you aren’t aware, the character in the third panel is Tingle. As that Zelda Dungeon page notes, Tingle “is quite unpopular in North America; however, the opposite is true in Japan, where his popularity has scored him four of his own spin-off games”. Either way, finding him under Lynk’s hat must’ve been rather unexpected.
